RS Roofs For Africa was established in 2003 and our office is located in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. We provide different services in the roofing industry mainly.

These services includes new roofs, re-roofing, waterproofing, gutter installation and solar installations.

Other types of services outside of the roofing industry includes timber frame structures, decking and ballustrading.

Our Services

Roofing

We supply pre-fabricated new timber trusses and/or beams with all accessories.

You have a choice of various roof coverings from cement roof slates, cement roof tiles, corrugated /IBR / Kliplok / Kliptite / Newlok /Saflok roof sheets, avaliable in various colours and thicknesses.

We repair and replace all types of roofs, big or small, to match ypur existing look if desired.

We also do PVC, seamless aluminium residentail or industrial box gutters.

Solar Systems

We supply and install solar systems for your specific solar needs.

Waterproofing

Waterproofing can be done on various type of roofs such as parapet walls, flat/concrete roofs and around chimneys with a heat infused torch on system. The torch on is finished off with a silver coat of paint.

Timber

We design and install composite or treated timber decks according to your needs.

We build any timber frame structures and houses.

We design and install built in cupboards according to your style and need.

Balustrade

We supply and fit a special clip-in aluminium balustrade system in various colours and styles to fit your needs.

All work are in accordance with NBR (National Building Regulation) specification.

About

I Renier, Swanepoel have a National Diploma in Architecture which I loved very much as I am a very technical and artistic individual with excellent attention to detail.

I moved into the roofing industry where I got involved in the designing and manufacturing of roof trusses since 1990 and other areas of the roofing industry for example waterproofing and re-roofing of roofs.

RS Roofs for Africa was started in Bloemfontein and registered in 2003. I started the business and my services included the design and manufacturing of roof trusses and erecting thereof. The business was moved to the Garden Route where I started with the designing and manufacturing of timber frames for houses, the installation of balustrades and timber and composite decking

In 2014 I moved the business to Cape Town where I am now offering the service as shown in my website.

In Total I have almost 30 years of experience in the building and roofing industry.
